God of everlasting love,

We give you thanks for the elders in our communities. Help us to keep them safe, and forgive us for the times when we have chosen our own personal freedoms at the cost of their vulnerability. Bless them as they are a blessing to us. Pour out your Spirit upon all families separated from one another. Be with us all, in presence and absence, always and forever. Amen.

How have you cared for the elders in your community?

Today or very soon, surprise an elder you know with a small gift or card. You will no doubt bring a smile to their face!
