Station Eight – A woman hold photo of healthcare worker
What could abash the little Bird
Emily Dickinson
Healing God, we repent that we have
not done enough to protect frontline
healthcare workers. Grant comfort to
families grieving the loss of those who
have died as a result of the negligence
of our government’s response to this
pandemic. Support and encourage our
fifirst responders as they continue to
care for the sick and dying in the face
of chaos and disease. We ask these
things in the name of Jesus Christ who
is with us always. Amen.
Reflect on the role of frontline workers and first-responders. Whether that be your own role and vocation, or that of your family, friends, and neighbors. How have you felt or been supported?
While the pandemic seems to be subsiding in many local communities and our country, the every-day heroism of frontline workers and first responders continues today. Take time to make a short list (3-5 items) of ways that you can show your gratitude and support daily for what they do. Post your list where you can see it and use it often!
